As a mother of four, with one child diagnosed with autism and Smith-Magenis syndrome, I have faced challenges over the years in understanding my son’s sensory needs. Many parents or caregivers often respond to the simple question of how things are going with, "One day at a time!"

Dealing with challenges, such as needing to take extra precautions for outings to the store or vacations, has taught me that being aware of his triggers and providing activities that keep his mind and hands engaged has been incredibly beneficial. As he approaches his 15th birthday next week, we have navigated numerous trials and tribulations. This project has been a passion of mine for some time, and I am thrilled to finally share my insights and support with other parents and caregivers as we embark on this journey together! Since not every solution works for every child, having the ability to customize sensory items to meet your child’s unique needs.
